School-Age After School Programs
This program offers girls ages 5 to 12 (grades K-6) academic and hands-on enrichment activities through a combination of quality academic and enrichment program. It is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), and the Department of Children & Family Services (DCF) to provide quality care for 156 girls at our building, the Demakes center, on 50 High Street.
The Middle School program is designed to empower girls grades 6 through 8 with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to make healthy decisions; achieve academic success; and develop positive relationships with adults and peers.
The program is built on four cornerstones: academic support, personal development, career exploration, and physical well being.
These programs offer computer access; one-on-one advising; homework help; job and college preparation, community involvement and mentoring.
