Middle School Mentoring
Girls Inc. is seeking women to be volunteer mentors for this exciting initiative in our Odyssey after school program. The Odyssey after school program provides academic and social support for girls in grades 6 to 8, to strengthen girls’ voices and build their confidence -enabling them to pursue leadership roles, discover new interests and experience healthy risk taking. Odyssey serves as a springboard for girls to set personal and educational goals for themselves and to envision successful futures. Mentors will meet once a week with four middle school girls at Girls Inc. of Lynn from 5:00-6:00 PM in addition to attending field trips as available and carrying out a service learning project. Make a difference in the lives of middle school girls in Lynn with this exciting new program!

College Mentoring Program
Girls Inc. of Lynn’s College Mentoring Program offers seniors in high school the opportunity to work with a volunteer mentor to guide them through the college application process, including scholarship submissions and financial aid applications.
Mentors receive training, materials and resources to help their mentees through the college application process.
